Still Woozy, an artist of his own.

Finding your own sound is very hard. How many artists have ended up being a near-copy of another? How many albums fell into obscurity because they brought nothing new to the table? This year(2024) Still Woozy dropped his second full-length album, titled Loveseat. It proves that making music that sounds unique and fresh is still possible. It shows that although one may think they’ve heard it all, there’s always something new to subvert your expectations.

Loveseat is a collection of optimistic, yet realistic writings. No matter what tone the song expresses, it always ends on an optimistic sentiment. It gets better with every listen and energizes you with its funky instrumentals. Still Woozy is an artist to keep an eye out for. I unfortunately missed his performance by a few minutes at 2024Osheaga. I will make sure to see him at least once.
